About CityCirca

In every city there is a history, starting from day one to the present, you and those around you have each contributed to the ongoing success of your city and state.  Now, by your participation in any of the 20 categories in CityCirca you can share your participation and contributions to your city’s history.  At CityCirca we understand that every city has a history, but without the businesses, services and dedicated people, cities would not have survived.

The Untold History

During this tragic time all over the World, HMG / CityCirca is concerned about the Coronavirus  that has attacked us all, especially the elderly regardless of race, color, creed and position.

Because of this deadly concern, we are focused on the elderly who are in the many retirement  facilities especially the individuals 100 years or older who died because of the Coronavirus Pandemic.  They were among the last link to their cities history and should be remembered  into their city’s history.

We encourage the management of retirement homes with residents 100 years and older who died, to encourage family members to list and register those respected individuals for eternity into “CityCirca’s Historic City Directory” for Free.  To register for this Free category listing, please contact us at info@citycirca.com

Throughout our country, many large and small cities have become major metropolitan and cosmopolitan cities through their mix of businesses, services, and faithful hard-working employees. Historians in every city normally mention the founding fathers, politicians, the rich and famous, the more highly educated, and those connected with the arts. But what about you, and the other businesses, organizations, and people who also make up the heart of each city?  Soon, through CityCirca, forgotten people who were the glue to services and businesses will be remembered in their city’s history.

Sales Opportunities, Marketing & Goodwill

CityCirca’s directory recognizes the continued disparity and recognition of every city’s past     history. Daily thousands of retired seniors meet among their friends to reminisce and talk of their past life experiences and contributions.  This ageing group of individuals are the last link to their cities history and retain some information that should be documented.

Unfortunately, as mentioned by AARP, 1 in 7 members are feeling the crunch to survive financially and find it hard to secure part-time work.   CityCirca will hire part-time independent sales agents and managers, who wish to remain active.  Other opportunities includes school educators, parents and students with built-in customers that support educational programs.  Income from commissions also assists, seniors and families to augment growing living expenses.

A portion of all income is returned to city’s needy.  CityCirca is also concerned of those, fallen on hard times and welcomes sponsors of the less fortunate, at www.FundThemCityCirca. Com, By your sponsorship, CityCirca will remember you Free in our Philanthropy category.

HMG Services

The owner of “CityCirca” is a small hospitality consulting service that consulting to customers in the United States, Canada, Mexico, China and Saudi Arabia.   Started in 1964 offering off premise catering to members of an executive business luncheon club, expanding service to businesses and serving two US vice presidents, King Olaf of Norway, King Hussein of Jordon.

During the 1970 recession that impacted the Hospitality Industry we developed a marketing concept and board game called “Main Entree” that featured and promoted businesses that were affected by the recession.  Today, several businesses on the gameboard are still active and provide visitors a better view of Seattle, “Ivar’s Acres of Clams” and “The Space Needle”.

We developed and patented “Mini Maxi Grill” This inexpensive portable broiler sold to small food service businesses.  In 1973/4 the City of Seattle contracted Ventura to provide 5000 lunches daily for a children’s Summer Lunch Program funded by the USDA.

In 1988 Ventura became HMG Services, a hospitality service with older retired business owners and managers and younger well educated savvy men. In 1989 Ventura created “Family Primer” a free site in 5 languages to help people organize and plan their lives through check lists.  Connected to “Family Primer” was our Business Internet Directory called “UniversalCities”

In 2005 we created “NexNuView”, providing businesses and people in high rises the same views as penthouse locations, viewed on computers and hand held cellphones. In 2011 HMG started “CityCirca” a Historic City Directory.  Through “CityCirca” people will recognize the investments undocumented time, hardships and mix of the people it took to make their City & State, successful.  CityCirca may not be historic and interesting, but for dedicated hardworking people, it will be their participation and contribution to their cities ongoing success.

Our current focus is to successfully open CityCirca in Washington, Oregon and California. As soon as Washington State has been successfully operational, HMG will place the remaining 47 States open for “Exclusive CC Franchise Operating Ownership and Management”
